Weakly systemic insecticide active by both contact and ingestion. Antifeedant, interferes with the synthesis of hormones vital to development and moulting and directly damages a number of tissues. Fungicidal and miticidal activity of the hydrophobic extract are due to physical smothering and desiccation.

Control of whiteflies, Lepidoptera larvae, mites, aphids, leaf miners, mealybugs, Cucumber beetles and thrips in vegetables, ornamentals and commercial and residential indoor and outdoor sites.
